The KareLink platform was designed to answer any problem and provide many solutions to meet and exceed facility needs. Each product line is the result of in-field problems that were answered, tested and had evolved into a value added benefit that saved on costs, increased facility efficiency and ultimately aided in resident well-being.
KareLink’s “keep it simple philosophy” can be seen in its wireless system, which offers easy implementation in any facility. All wireless devices run on spread spectrum technology that guarantees a wireless connection to the main computer. In many cases, wireless installation of a call system in an existing facility is preferred for simplicity. Installation involves no drilling and running wires through walls, saving users on installation costs. Each wireless device has a typical 3-year battery life, which is supervised by the system. When low battery trouble occurs, KareLink will alert users through screen alerts, logs and emails two weeks ahead of actual battery failure.
The KareLink wired solution is the preferred way of installing. Devices that are linked physically through low-voltage wiring are able to constantly communicate to the main computer and other devices, while being supervised for any trouble. Utilizing direct connect wiring assures consistent no-fail operation, and enables the system to be easily upgraded for new technology add-ons. This type of installation is preferred in new building construction, but is also capable of being done in retrofitting situations.
